Choosing Your Ladder
Safety is always a very good point. What will you be using your
loft/attic space for. Do you require a larger opening? We can offer
you a large range of Timber and Metal Loft Ladders which we think
are the best range of products on the market today. Choose a ladder
that best suits your needs and budget from the basic light weight
aluminium two and three section ladders for occasional use, or perhaps
a high quality Midmade or Midmade Lux ladder with gas piston counter
balance operation for the every day user and save on the extra cost
of a hatch enlargement which is included in the price.
Enlargements & New Openings
Loft hatch enlargements for most homes is a straight forward operation.
Generally existing loft hatches can be too small for a comfortable
access or are just in the wrong place. A standard size loft hatch
enlargement opening would be approx 600mm x 800mm made from pine
timber framework with a flush fitting MDF door swinging downwards
(ready for painting). With very little mess we always use dust sheets
to protect your property and always clean up any mess as part of
the job.

options which would consist of Flooring, Lighting and a Loft Ladder.

Loft Flooring Board
We supply a strong high grade Tongue and Groove chipboard flooring
board which is 18mm thick a resin based water resistent product
called caberboard it comes in 600mm x 2400mm sheets and is designed
to spread the weight load evenly across the joists.
Lighting
Lighting is always a good idea, why not have a conveniently placed
switched light with a choice of bulb type is fine for most lofts
but for a better lighting needs or larger lofts a flourescent light
makes a good choice.
How Long will it take
A basic ladder fit depends on the ladder you choose but on average
between 2 to 4 hours. Package deals between 1 to 2 days again depending
on what you need.
